Meltemia by Nishane is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Meltemia was launched in 2026. The nose behind this fragrance is Jordi Fernández. Top notes are Bitter Orange, Bergamot, Ginger, Lemon and Rosemary; middle notes are Peru Balsam, Orange Blossom, Petalia and Petitgrain; base notes are Akigalawood, Ambreine and Sandalwood. NISHANE unveils Meltemia, a new fragrance named after the Meltemi, the dry northern wind that descends across the Aegean and composed as a tribute to a summer in Mykonos.Daybreak in Mykonos. The Meltemi rises with the light, brushing across the water, threading through citrus groves and wild rosemary, picking up the warmth of stone and dried herb. By mid-morning it has shaped the entire island. By evening it softens to a balm, leaving a warmth that lingers on skin long after the sea has gone quiet.“Mykonos in summer has a particular brightness,” say Mert Güzel and Murat Katran, founders and creative directors of NISHANE. “We composed Meltemia for it.” The composition was developed with Spanish perfumer Jordi Fernandez, whose work with Mediterranean materials brings the brightness and warmth at the heart of Meltemia.Belonging to the Citrus Amber Musk family, the fragrance opens with Italian bergamot, bitter orange, and lemon, animated by the spice of ginger and the green clarity of rosemary.At its heart, orange blossom and Petalia open into a soft floral radiance, with Peru balsam and petitgrain absolute bringing a resinous warmth beneath.The base settles into the long, mineral warmth of Ambreine, Akigalawood, and sandalwood, carrying the freshness of the opening into the evening.Crafted at 35 percent concentration, Meltemia is an extrait de parfum, in keeping with the House’s commitment to depth, longevity, and precision.The flacon is dressed in a sun-yellow matte varnish, with bright orange typography, naming Mykonos at its base. The outer sleeve, finished in cream with gold foil, carries the House signature, the rider, and a stylized sun, anchoring the fragrance in the Greek summer.
