This fume is the latest in our “flower city” series that we’ve released as STUDIO JUICES (limited edition bottles I hand-make in our Brooklyn Navy Yards studio).  I’ve worked on real studies of honeysuckle for years—mostly from the fences of Bedstuy. They only bloom for a couple weeks, so it’s not easy to get aromatic copies of them perfect. This year I figured out some important shades of honeysuckle’s intoxicating aroma: fatty coconuts, geranium, lemongrass. SHC paints the parks near us in Brooklyn, flowering in hot summer when the neighborhood comes alive."
